A working sit-on crane with sturdy metal construction! This crane has real working levers, featuring molded hand grips designed for little hands to control a big crane! Young construction enthusiasts will have a blast as they scoop, pivot and drop sand or snow, just like a real construction site worker, all while seated comfortably in the contoured red seat! Great concept for the toy. Just like the heavy-duty sand diggers at playgrounds.
The toy is nowhere near strong enough for play. It's great to look at.
We purchased this toy for our 4-year old boy for Christmas. He absolutely loved it! Unfortunately, even as I was putting it together, I knew it wouldn't last. He used it twice - gently, and it fell apart. It's a great concept, we had been searching for a toy like this. However, it is not close to being strong enough for it's intended purpose of outside digging in sand and dirt. I feel sad for my little boy because he really wanted to play with this toy; and I feel sad for me because I paid the money for it, and it didn't live up to our expectations.
Exactly like the playground ones.
a little taller seat... and more durable
My son (five year old) was so exited to get this for his birthday. He couldn't believe he had a real digger that would actually dig. he used it for 3-4 days a few hours each time and now the metal part is bent.(in the picture it has a yellow and black sticker). The arm I guess you'd call it. we are disappointed and we aren't sure when or how it happened!!
