How and when we collect information

We don’t automatically collect personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. We collect this information only if you provide it to us voluntarily when ordering products, entering a contest or promotion, creating a Mastermind Toys shopping account, creating a Mastermind Toys Perks account or signing up to receive our emails. We don't require you to provide any personal information in order to view our website although we may collect certain personal information in conjunction with your access and use of our website, as detailed in this Privacy Policy.

Accounts

You may create a Mastermind Toys shopping account in order to take advantage of the many account-holder benefits, such as the quick-pay feature, accessible order history and address book. If you do so, the following personal information may be collected from you:

• your full name
• your residential address
• your e-mail address
• a secure password

You may also make purchases as a guest (without creation of a Mastermind Toys shopping account) and in such instances only basic information required to process your order will need to be provided.

You may also create a Mastermind Toys Perks account if you would like to participate in our Perks Program and the associated benefits and rewards. The following information will be collected in association with the creation of a Mastermind Toys Perks account:

• your full name
• your e-mail address
• your mobile phone number

You may also choose to provide us with your residential address and other household information but this is not required.

How we use personal information

We use the information you provide to us to:

• enable you to order products
• enable you to enter contests and participate in promotions
• send and personalize any communications you opt-in to receive

How we use your email address and mobile phone number

We occasionally send e-mail communications to you in conjunction with your Mastermind Toys shopping account and Mastermind Toys Perks account using the e-mail address you have provided in regard to each. Based on your preferences, we may also send text messages to you in conjunction with your Mastermind Toys Perks account using the mobile phone number you have provided. We offer optional registration

We recommend that you register as a customer in order to take advantage of the many benefits of maintaining an account. Unlike many other sites, registration is not necessary for placing orders. We offer a "buy now" option which only requires the basic information required to process your order Please note that this will limit access to your order history and an address book.

We send transactional emails at regular intervals to keep you up-to-date on the status of your online orders. If you have opted in to receive marketing emails, we will send occasional emails to inform you about new products, contests, promotions and other offers that may interest you.

You can choose not to receive these marketing emails by opting out: simply click on the ‘unsubscribe from this list’ link on the footer of any Mastermind Toys email that you receive; sign in to your Mastermind Toys account and change your preference; or send an email to feedback@mastermindtoys.com and ask to be removed from our marketing email list.

If you have registered as a member of our Mastermind Toys Perks Program and have opted in to receive Perks-related communications, we will send you emails and/or text messages (based on your preferences) in regard to program offers, promotions and rewards, and with respect to your account and membership in general.

You can choose not to receive these Mastermind Toys Perks Program emails by opting out: simply click on the ‘unsubscribe from this list’ link on the footer of any Mastermind Toys Perks email that you receive. You may also opt-out of receipt of such e-mails or of receiving further text messages by signing in to your Mastermind Toys Perks account and changing your preference or by sending an email to perkshelp@mastermindtoys.com and asking to be removed from our Perks Program email list and/or text message list.

We limit disclosure to third parties

Mastermind Toys does not sell your personal information to any organization for any purpose.

We collect your billing and shipping information in order to process your order and deliver it to its destination. Only we and our preferred shipping partners will use billing and shipping information, for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order.

The personal information we collect through this website is used for our internal purposes only. We will not sell your personal information, nor authorize third parties to use this information for their own purposes, without your prior consent. We may share your personal information with our service providers, however, but only in conjunction with the delivery of said services to us and for no other purpose. All such third parties will be subject to confidentiality obligations and otherwise to safeguard any personal information that they receive, obtain or collect.

The personal information we collect in conjunction with the Mastermind Toys Perks Program (including any purchase history associated with the Mastermind Toys Perks Program) may be shared with our third party loyalty merchants and program partners to allow them to assist us in providing you with special offers and rewards that are personalized. All such third parties will be subject to confidentiality obligations and otherwise to safeguard any personal information that they receive, obtain or collect.

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

We DO NOT store credit card information

We’ve designed our systems so that only your bank's authorized payment provider stores your credit card information. This transaction is handled using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL 256 AES) encryption, TLS1.1 and Tokenization. Encryption may be updated from time to time as required. Mastermind Toys also conducts regular external scans of our entire business, including our Web store in order to comply with current PCI requirements.

We use only password-protected accounts

When you create a Mastermind Toys shopping account or a Mastermind Toys Perks account, you choose a password to secure your account information, and have sole access to change that password. Should you forget your password, we release this information only to the specific email address you have recorded in your account profile and only at your request.

We do not give out account information in any other situation, unless you verify your identity. Account information includes your order history, billing and shipping addresses, and the phone number and email address you provide and maintain. Credit card information is never included in this file.

We use cookies

Like most websites, we use cookies to improve your shopping experience. A cookie is simply an identifier transferred to your system from ours that helps us manage your transaction. The cookie remembers items in your basket and currency selections. Cookies do not store personal or credit card information.
