Megaloceros

Formerly known as the 'great bog deer', the Megaloceros is one of the largest deer of all time.

Similar to a large modern-day deer in appearance, it had antlers that measured up to 3.50m from tip to tip. It is thought to have walked the Earth eleven thousand years ago during the Holocene and fed mainly on grass and tree saplings found on the cold plains of Eurasia.
